How is Street food?
The street food in Hue Vietnam is the local food, which is cooked by the locals and sold daily at the local restaurants.

Can I find the Hue street food flavors any where else?
“You won’t find many outside Hue – even in Hue-themed restaurants in Saigon or Hanoi – but the legacy still lives on in family-run alley spots here.” Robert Reid said.

How about hygiene?
Robert Reid, a famous guidebook writer, said about the street food in Hue:” I already had my belly full of it — and was feeling fine. It’s not too fishy, and no spicier than some of your more milder Thai dishes. “
In addition the local food hygiene and security authorities routinely check these restaurants.

In spite of this, as this tour is for tasting the street food at the local restaurants in Hue (many kinds of the local dishes); you are responsible for yourself. Hue Flavor will introduce the local food  and culture as well as guide you to the famous local restaurants, but we cannot be responsible for any circumstance happened for your health.

If you are worried about your health, you can still take part in this tour to gain some local experience, and explore the daily life and cuisine culture of Hue.

How many dishes can we taste?
We now select 15 kinds of the street food which are introduced in the tour for tasting.

Do we have to taste all of these dishes?
No. It is up to you. You can skip tasting any kinds of the dishes.

If I skip to taste any food, can I get refund?
Sorry, no refund, please!

Can I buy extra food?
Yes, you can. But it is not recommended to buy extra food, because we will try a lot of kinds of dishes.

How about the water and drink?
There is a bottle of water free of charge. Additional drinks or water can be ordered at the restaurants or bought at the shops by your own.

How many people of join-in group?
Max is 12 guests for join-in group. If your private group is over 12, please contact me!

How long in advance should I book the tour?
You should book the tour as soon as possible, but at least a day in advance. Booking will be closed when it is full. Limited guest number is max 12 guests for join-in group. Book it now

How far is the tour?
It is around 10km for the tour.

Will we sit on cylcos all the time?
No. We will stop at many places for tasting Hue street food and visiting.

How many stops during the tour?
More than 5 stops are within the tour.

How long does the tour last?
It is half day tour, 4 hours.

How do I pay for the tour?
Paypal transfer or in cash.

What if the weather is bad?
The tour will run in all weather conditions. We will prepare a rain coat for you if it rains. In the case of severe inclement weather, such as floods or typhoons, we will attempt to reschedule the tour for another time if possible. Otherwise we may decide to cancel or reschedule the tour. See below about refunds.

How is your refund policy?
In the event of an emergency or inclement weather, refunds are only issued within 48 hours of your scheduled tour. All deposits are non-refundable.

Are there “happy houses”- toilets on the way?
Yes, there are some “happy houses” on the way.

What do I need to bring?
Bring yourself, a smile and a camera.

Am I allowed to tip my guide?
Yes! You’re not required to do so, but tips are appreciated.
